The Ghost of the Outback - has been seen many times in a clearing near Corroboree Springs, 100 kilometres from Alice Springs. An Aboriginal of the Arunta tribe, which used the site for secret rituals.

The Araluen Site, also known as the Alice Springs Cultural Precinct, is home to some of the most interesting cultural and historical attractions in Alice Springs, encompassing performing and visual arts, natural and social history and Aboriginal culture.The attractions which make up the Araluen Cultural Precinct include: Araluen Arts Centre Central Australian Aviation Museum Museum of Central Australia Strehlow Research Centre Memorial Cemetery Originally housing Alice’s first airport, the Site contains a number of heritage buildings, linked to this early Aviation history, along with the studios and gallery of Central Craft. The Araluen Arts Centre holds various shows and performances throughout the year including dance, music, comedy and live theatre.
