The Tourism Central Australia Visitor Information Centre in Alice Springs proudly wears the Italic 'i ' identifying nationally accredited information centres which provide comprehensive, up-to-date information on the region. Located conveniently in the heart of the town's central business district. The Visitor Centre has information on all aspects of touring the region and can help with on-the-spot bookings of all Tourism Central Australia members' products, including accommodation, touring and vehicle rentals. Central Australian Tourism operates a visitor information desk at the Alice Springs Airport & Railway Station that provides comprehensive information and booking services. You can purchase a Mereenie Loop permit from the Information Centre and the cost is $2.20.
